Peppa Pig World

So it's been a while since I blogged, and for that I am sorry. Family life has been super busy of late.

This weekend was a bank holiday, and I booked some time off work and booked tickets to go to Peppa Pig World in Southampton.

We set off early Friday morning as its around a 3 hour journey from where we live. I got us 2 days in the theme park and 1 night in a hotel. We headed straight for the theme park and arrived around 11.45am. Peppa Pig World is a small section in a bigger theme park called Paultons Park.

Upon arrive we commented how nice the park looked as a whole, and how clean it all was. We grabbed a spot of lunch and headed off on some of the rides. I think the first one we went on was the balloon ride. It was quite busy so there was a fair amount of waiting in line for the rides.

At certain times Peppa and George come out to meet the kids, and throughout the day Suzy Sheep and Zoe Zebra go for a walk through the park.

There is a 'Muddy Puddles' splash park which Ava LOVED. Luckily it was nice and warm so she could go in, she had a blast.

We went back on the Saturday and won her a big princess pig teddy (£50 in the shops !!! ) I nearly one a second one too.

We went on a few rides first thing then headed off around the rest of the park, we did all of the peppa bit on the Friday. The rest of the park is pretty child friendly too, the were quite a few rides Ava could go on as she's over 1m tall. We all went on the log flume but she hated that and hid in between my legs, though once it was over she was laughing her head off and said she loved it.

We went back into the Peppa bit later on in the afternoon and woah it was so so so busy. I'm glad we'd already done all the rides the day before. We stopped at a pub at the end of the road for dinner before heading home. We both had pulled pork sandwiches and they were AMAZING!!

All in all we had a total blast and I'd love to go back next year too!!
